Superfine Merino from White Gum Wool, Tasmania. Scoured in Christchurch, New Zealand. Spun in Napier, New Zealand.Hand Dyed by Spinning Top Fibre in the Blue Mountains, NSW.
White Gum Wool sock yarn is a worsted, traditional 2 plied "ring spun" yarn. Gauging at a 4ply or fingering weight yarn.
METRIC UNITS: 100 g: 472 m.
Tension: 28 st/36 rows for 10 x 10 cm square on 3.25 mm needles.
US/UK Units: 3.5 oz: 516 yd.
Tension: 28 st/36 rows for 4 x 4 inch square on US 3 or UK 10 needles.
